The Connecta is suitable from 3.5kg-16kg – birth to toddler and can be worn on the front or back. It's based on traditional chinese ‘mei tai’ but fastens with buckles making it quick and easy to use. The wide base supports the position considered to be anatomically correct for baby and offers optimum comfort for wearer. It has wide well padded shoulder straps plus wide 50mm webbing used throughout for comfortable front carries as well as back.

Distinctive and innovative fabric designs and uniquely shaped and contoured body give the Connecta a contemporary look. An accessory strap is included that can be used as a chest strap, to narrow the body of the carrier to use with a younger baby, and to hold the carrier together when folded. The body can be rolled at the bottom to shorten if necessary.

All Connectas are constructed with two full layers of drill fabric in the body. They are sewn with extra strong thread (made for load bearing seams) on industrial sewing machines.  The Connecta has been rigorously tested in a laboratory and passed the BS EN 13209-2:2005 safety standard for soft baby carriers. All Connectas have an extra layer of light padding in the body unless otherwise requested.

Additional Integra features:

In a redesigned carrier with some exciting new features we present the Connecta Integra. This new design retains all of the comfort, safety and security of the original design with a few changes. The Connecta Integra is slightly lighter weight than the original, packs smaller, and is cooler in summer.

It features a integrated sleeping hood that is a seamless addition to the top of the carrier. It also has the clever ability to tuck right away inside the carrier as shown below, which also creates a handy pocket for soft small items when the hood is not in use. You simply separate the front and back layers of the carrier and tuck the hood away inside!
